Yeah, I'd like to know about this too. Here it is also the top wakeup cause: 45.5% ( 30.6) <kernel IPI> : Rescheduling interrupts 19.6% ( 13.1) <interrupt> : extra timer interrupt My system is: Kernel v2.6.24-rc4-190-g94545ba Mandriva 2008 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7250 @ 2.00GHz Chipset ICH8 I am also using the hpet clocksource, so I am amazed to see the "extra timer interrupt" here, as on my old ICH4 with hpet=force this wasn't an issue. I thought that with a more modern ICH8 those wakeups wouldn't be there. And "top" doesn't show anything unusual, I just have firefox and thunderbird opened right now, and the system is idle. _______________________________________________ Power mailing list [email protected] http://www.bughost.org/mailman/listinfo/power
