9.1 does not hog as much RAM as you might imagine. It's running from 12.5-17.5, 
depending on its mood -- switching on or off extensions doesn't make that much 
difference. I believe 9.1 is set to take a certain percentage your your available RAM. 
It is slower than 8.6 on an upgraded 1400.

Excuse me, but I have never thought that the active matrix screen was so much better 
than the passive to warrant the difference in price when they were new.

Come to think of it, I have heard nothing but good things from the folks on this list 
who spent the extra for the 400MB upgrade. Perhaps it really is just the 333 that is 
giving people such problems. As far as Sonnet is concerned, I hope they go bankrupt.
