There has been alot of talk about the Developer's Tools in relationship to 
the release of OS 10.1.
I have not converted over to OS X, yet. 

One lister on Mac-L said that it is necessary for some intall/compiles for OS 
X apps.

Would other listers comment on the need or lack of need for Developer's 
Tools, for us wanna-bees, please?
