I'd recommend a reformatting of the drive, and then check again with Norton. Bad blocks is a hardware failure, Norton can't really fix it, but it somehow excludes the bad block, so that it won't be used anymore. Reformatting will also "cure" the problem, but if it reoccurs any time soon, your drive is bad and should be replaced.
