It was the first ppc notebook i had and it was great.
as for the answers to the above questions Vauxhall give a 3year machanical warranty and a 6 year body work warranty and the samsung microwave in my kitchen say's samsung for life i know that it is not a warranty but its for life. You need to just sit back and look at things in a logical way. First is it your 5300? Second would you feel the same way? Third if not would you just replace the book like the rest of todays disposable attitude. because some of us don't have the money to be disposable they like to make things last.
