hi everyone! i bought a powerbook 520c two months ago. (66 Mhz, 20 MB, MacOS D1-8.0, 14.4 modem, very very passive screen ;-) i surfed the internet several hours for answers to my question, but there are some left: - are there some good private Powerbook 5xx websites with general information? - i'm searching especially for a list of programs which run on my 68k Powerbook. (the last versions of Photoshop, stuff it, games, m$ office....) - if i try to open some downloaded sit files with stuffit, nothing happens. the stuffit menu appears for 3 seconds and no file is created (for example Coaster, Photoshop 1.0.7 and Word 4) - i'm crazy about the possibility to take my powerbook to our music-practice-room and record our songs. Right now i'm using simple sound. Are there any Sound-Editors with Waveform-Display for my mac? Multitrack recording would be the best, but some equalizer, normalisation and dynamic edit-functions are most needed. - can i connect my Palm m100 with serial hotsync cable to my powerbook? - the control bar from MacOs hangs in the middle of the screen (after some second monitor experiments), how do i move it to the bottom again? - i'm from germany, so any information about german programs are welcome too...
