Chris, I haven't seen a reason to turn off VM when you are done with Reason
2.0, if that is your practice.  I had a 64 mb ram chip in my 3400c and unless
you are using almost all of the 3 gig hd space, VM isn't going to take enough
that you will experience freezes or in any way know that the VM is running when
using other applications.  That is only my opinion and others may have a good
reason for not leaving VM on all the time.
