Luca,
I bought a 540C for my high-school (junior) kid and
it's been in use for a year for mostly games and AOL IM.
That seems to be about all it is good for though.
I wouldn't recommend it for a serious college computer.
Maybe with the 117 upgrade, you can get by with the 520C.
