Yes. It didn't take anything at all. Just installed straight away. I've run 
it on both a Duo 280c and 520c. What exact problems are you having?

I've run it fine on a Duo 230 with 12 megs of RAM. Doesn't leave a lot for 
applications but it can be trimmed down nicely.

No clue.

Keep in mind that although 8.1 on a 68k Mac can read HFS+, you won't be 
able to boot from it. Only PPCs can actually boot from an HFS+. You may 
have to partition the drive to do it.
