RE the pram battery on my PB 280, Paul wrote:

I have tried many times to download the service manual for the 280 from the
Apple web page with no success. I did download the PDF /user manual, but it
doesn't cover changing the battery.

I guess I can follow Paul's directions for opening the case and seeing if I
can get to the pram battery that way.

Question: If there is a charged "main" battery in the case, will it power
the pram in the absence of the pram battery? (I've ordered an AC/adaptor
and charger for the unit, and am waiting for it to arrive)

The unit works perfectly when docked, but it would be nice to have all
systems operating.
