It's one of those "sorta" things. Some parts of the '040s are internally 
clock doubled, which is why you'll often see them specced as "50/25" or 
"66/33". Apple's spec sheet lists the higher numbers, which most others 
(including the chips themselves) have the lower numbers.

It is true that the ones that have some parts clock doubled are faster than 
ones that wouldn't, but it's not the same as a bus speed + multiplyer.
