Hi Everybody, I have a real stumper...a few days ago I installed some new software onto my Powerbook 3400/180. The instalation went fine, but when I went to open the new program my Mac froze, then I heard the soud of breaking glass (chimes of death?). I now tried to start it up and I get the start up sound, and the screen comes on, and after two minutes or so the screen goes bright white and a little folder comes on with a flashing questionmark. I have tried booting from both my OS 9 and my Norton Systemworks disk, but to no avail... In short...HELP!!! Do I need a new hard drive? A new PRam battery? I hope I haven't lost my Powerbook for good...."sob" no really, I'm o.k...
