ok guys, last one, i promise. i was reading around some
fritter forums (the thread is "classic question from
first-time poster") and came across some stuff about
the iisi (and similar mobos like LCII, CC, etc) having
something in its rom about being able to boot via a
network. (my response: WTF?!?!)
anyways, if anyone has ANY info about this, please
email off-list. i have a performa 400 (remarketed LCII)
and if it would be so cool to have it silently boot off
my iici in another room... no disks or anything (maybe
shove its contents minus HD&FD into a monitor that has
some space left over...)
anyways, if this is anything ANYBODY has any useful
information about ie how to bless a sysfol on a mounted
server volume and make it "the startup disk"...
or maybe an applescript routine to boot a minimal 7
from a floppy, then transfer to the net volume,
ejecting the floppy

so many things to do, so little time!
