I think trying to run OS 9.2.2 with 64 mb RAM is akin to towing a full-sized mobile home with an VW bug. You can do it, but only in first gear, very slow.
I'm betting the thing is depending VR. Is your HD busy all the time? Get more RAM any ol' way. BTW, I'm curious why Lombards would be considered OT for this list. It's a PowerBook.
