Absolutely. I have one and I do.

If you remember the os checks the floppy drive "first" to see if it has a
startup disk. One way to check is to remember that Norton Utilites (and
others) need a bootable disk to perform certain operations. The Earlier
Norton had a program to make a bootable disk for emergencies.
