If possible, set the ram usage on the programs that must be running at the same time 
to less than what they are using now.  I wouldn't recommend going less than the 
suggested size however and be sure to leave some ram available for the OS.  You never 
want to use up every bit of ram.  That will may your system unstable and sluggish.

Some might also suggest upping the virtual memory, RAM doubler.
