To remove the palmrest/trackpad without breaking anything, all you need
do is remove the keyboard, take out the single screw that secures the
speaker grill, lift it out of the way, then remove (pry up) the left
and the right clutch covers (hinge covers). Now you can remove the
palmrest with no danger of breaking any plastics. Nothing is tricky if
the proper procedure is applied.
