My powerbook 140's battery has ceased to function... it only works when the battery is plugged in and the ac is plugged in.... i was told it was a 5A 125V fuse... i checked it and it went off the resistance scales so i will assume it is bad. would the fuse being bad cause said problem? i tested the ac to dc adapter, it is fine... if i replace the fuse will it work? (or just solder wires into another fuse)?
