Well, I would definately check those specs! 40 meg HD? That is extremely small, and could barely hold 7.5.5! Actually, I don't even think it could. My guess is it has 40megs free on the HD. Like John said run Apple System Profiler on it. I am positive it was installed with 7.5.5, but just incase..... take it with you on a floppy. When you come back from checking it, out please let us know what it does have.
