There is a way to do it, actually. You take the blank power card (IE, the 
non-modem thingy with the power switches on it) and attach a spare ADB port 
to it with some drilled holes. Run a line to the ADB out line on the dock 
connector, a couple power wires, and you have a functional ADB port where 
the phone jack usually would be. Works quite well.

That said, it'd save a lot of work just getting a floppy dock. With the 
dual advantage of being able to put a floppy drive in the correct place.
