For awhile now a number of keys on the right hand side of the keyboard have not been working, in particular one whole row of keys (the 9 o l and .)

the symptoms started after I was replacing the trackpad on the 3400. I tried to get around disconnecting the keyboard but in the process it jerked out of both holders. After reinserting it I experienced the non-functioning keys symptoms. I have since reseated the keyboard cables twice and each time all keys worked fine for a very brief while and then only when pressing repeatedly and then not at all. I tried testing with another keyboard but couldn't get it to work at all. I am not convinced it was a known functioning keyboard.

If I ever get my hands on a known functioning compatible keyboard I can test that way, but in the mean time it seems like either something has been damaged in the keyboard ribbon or the connector that is attached to the motherboard has been somehow damaged.

Here is my question:
Would someone please tell me or point me to a source that I can map particular keys to which ribbon connection?

I would like to inspect the ribbon cable more specifically although my gut is telling me it is probably the connector to the motherboard. I am not sure I am up to soldering if something has come loose there but if I knew which wire in which ribbon I might be able to inspect that more closely as well.
