Dear Listessas/Listas, I just got a new Cable modem internet connection (Comcast), but since I transferred from Ricochet (which by the way was unbearably slow), I am rather used to being wireless. What would a recommendation for the most economic/successful 802.11b (or: g?) connection be? Orinoco PC card (which one?), Linksys or D-link or ... (?) base-station ... Running 9.1 on a G3 250 (original powerbook G3, Kanga, 3500) - probably similar to a 3400, have 160 MB RAM, 20 GIG Harddrive. Cuirrently it is connected through ethernet port on RCA cable modem. Which system would be officially Mac supported? What problems may I encounter? I had the Comcast guy install the cablemodem and wasn't present myself.
