Well, last night my 3400c started telling over and over again that if I wanted to use a function key I had to program it. I thought I had accidentally hit the function key, but when I dismissed the dialogue box it simply came back like a function key was stuck. Frustrated, I turned it off and went to bed. This morning it will not start. No chime, no hard drive, nuthin'. Figuring that my keyboard was toast (I've never liked it--always seemed sticky to me) I removed it and cleaned it with electronic component spray.

Still no good. I plugged in an external keyboard with a power button. Nothing. I noticed corrosion near the power input on the motherboard and elsewhere in that general vicinity. I cleaned it up, but 3400 is still dead. It has a fully charged, fairly new battery.

Anybody got any ideas? Also, is there such a thing as a replacement keyboard for a 3400c? Or will I have to part this out -- new 30gig HD, 80megs, expansion bay power supply, etc?
