I want to invoke the "once-a-year" rule and offer this package to this list, before going to the Swap List or eBay.
I have 3 working PowerBooks 540c in different states of (dis)repair.
One of this is headless, but I'm including the necessary parts to complete it. (Screen, frame, etc.)
One is working but the screen is damaged.
One is working but needs the internal HD.
I'll include 2 PB SCSI HD's.
I'll include more than 4 batteries, most take a charge.
I'll include a working Power Supply.
I'll include a PPC 117 MHz upgrade, but I think it doesn't work.
I'll include everything that I have that relates to this computers. Lots of plastics, little pieces, etc.
I do not have the time, nor the sight or steady hand needed to repair or refurbish this great computers.
This goes as a lot. You can make at least 2 complete working computers from the lot.
You will have to pay the shipping from ZIP 78557, and as the lot is kinda heavy, expect to pay around $25 or more.
The lot, of course, is sold AS-IS.
I paid $90 for the active screen alone.
I'm open to reasonable offers. Please don't insult me offering $30 or $40. Be reasonable. This PB's work, they just have to be assembled, or buy them as parts machines.
