The 1400cs has a clear, plastic top that runs the width of the laptop, and goes from the very front by the latch to about mid-way across the top...

It also has paper inserted in it, with a printed pattern on it....

It looks OEM, but I have never seen a PB like this... was this something specifically for educator-macs? I ask because the laptop also had a school badge on it...

Thanks...

Craig W.

The clear, interchangeable top, was one of the selling points of the 1400, it allows you to "personalize" your PB. I printed a "collage" of some female friends, and use it on my 1400. It really attracts attention to this fine computer. Best regards. Hugo Diaz [EMAIL PROTECTED]
