Ive got a PB 150 with a 14.4 internal modem that is able to dial out using Apple Remote Access but after the "popcorn" noise the dialog box says, "Connecting at 14400 bps" and then I get sort of an error message that there is a modem connection problem.
I telephoned Earthlink tech support and their agent told me to trash the modem preference file inside my Preferences folder. I tried that and I still have the same problem. I am assuming from their agent that my ISP (Earthlink) isnt to blame.
Please help! I am running OS 7.5
Thanks
