Chuck,

    If I remember right the area's you describe have galvinized steel in the
mountings,
will check when I get home, but if the corrosion products were white and
powdery combined with rust thats probably the case. I have several of these
machines and noticed a similar occurance in the parts machine, but assumed
the cause was a spill.
