Hi Listers,

Anyone out there have any further suggestions on my bad 500 series battery?

The Apps I have tried so far:

Emmpathy 1.1
Emmpathy 2.0
Intelligent Battery Recondition

No luck with the above. Emmpathy stills reports the EMM is suspect. The
weird thing (and I hope this clicks with someone out there) is the battery
doesn't show up according to the operating system. If I remove it and put it
back in than it shows up as a dead battery in the menu at the top of the
screen.

Is this a condition of a corrupted EMM or is the actual battery contacts
inside the Powerbook bad. They have plenty of spring to them and the
contacts on the battery itself look fine.

Thanks for your help.
