Greetings. I remember a little utility--but I can't remember its name, or where to find it--that allows you to rebuild the desktop file and recover over 100KB on a formatted but otherwise "empty" floppy disk. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Thanks.
Don't remember a utility, but reformatting the disk does the same thing. Alternatively, you can kick the disk out, and hold down option-command while inserting the disk; that should bring up the 'Rebuild desktop on XXX' dialog for that floppy.
