Upon attaching the Powerbook to a monitor via the external video port, i get exactly the same thing in glorious 17" VGA.
The hard disk (512MB IBM SCSI 2.5") has 7.5.3 on it, likely from a much later Powerbook. I can't get it to boot from a 7.6 CD (I don't know if it even recognises the CD drive!).
So is it the software? Or the Daughterboard? Or the LCD (doubtful!!) or am I being stupid?
BTW I am pretty new to this game and am bound to be subjecting everyone to a fair amount of torture as I have a 5300 PB waiting in the wings for some serious work...
