None of these work. It tries hard but just stops a few minutes into its run
time.If you restart it only goes as far as the Mac welcome screen then
freezes. If its turned off and rebooted after about 5 minutes it will reboot
from the CD.
Anyone got any ideas before we bin the machine and Docks?

I can take a really wild guess at something to do with the machine detecting whether it's open or closed being a bit awry. Not having a duo though, I have no idea what would indicate if this was or wasn't the case. I know they're meant to operate closed, but that guess is the first thing that comes to my mind!



I second that. I remember the duos had REALLY fragile latch micro-switches.


Or..... maybe some weird pram battery thing? Try unplugging it?


Hmm... do you know for sure that the new MB is good - it could have been faulty to start with?
