I have three extensions:

PowerBook 3400 Ethernet
PowerBook 3400 Modem
PowerBook Ethernet (PCI)

Modem Control Panel is set to "Internal Modem" and modem is "PowerBook 
3400 Internal 33.6"

Still doesnt work....

On a side note, when I do attempt to dial with the modem the computer 
emits a low humming noise that lasts until the "Connection Error: Modem 
not responding properly" dialogue comes up.
