For me, 9.2.2 crashed quite often; for one thing, it didn't seem to play
nice with MSN Messenger at all, and even crashed when I was on the Web
sometimes. But the problems went away when I re-blessed my 9.1 system folder
and just dropped in the 9.2 Finder, OT and TCP/IP components. It's more
responsive than an ordinary 9.1 and stable. You might try that to see if it
works for you...some people report that this configuration is flaky for
them, too.
