There is a new "Combo" USB 2.0+FireWire card on the market, which is a
good option for the Wallstreet, as this is the last PowerBook which
doesn't have USB.

Two USB 2.0 ports and Two FireWire ports in a single card.

PPA International is the manufacturer. Bar code 33250-00111. About $49.95
at Fry's Electronics.

I have tested this card in my Wallstreet II under MacOS 9.1, in USB mode,
and it works as advertised.

I have not yet tested it in FireWire mode.

The card is a sell-out at Fry's, but it is not stocked in Fry's Mac
section, only in the generic (that is, PC) section.

Incredibly, the product's package documentation says nothing about MacOS
9.x support, but it is there. You will see that only after loading the
support CD-ROM.

Only MacOS 10.1.5 and later needs the supplied driver CD-ROM. Earlier
MacOSes are supported right out of the (retail) box.

I will be modifying my "Kanga" to accept Cardbus cards, as a direct
consequence of this success.
