Subject: powerbook powercord connection problem
From: Al Morris <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

I have a powerbook 5300c, and i am having trouble keeping the powercord
in the right position so that the computer dosen't begin to run off of
the battery.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to resolve this? I also have a
midi input in the back that won't work unless I drape the midi cord
(that is connected to my sound module)
over the top of the computer to keep in locked in place. Suggestions
on this will be greatly appreciated also.

Many thanks,

Al Morris

The solder joints on the motherboard have probably come loose. I have successfully repaired one, although it took two tries. I ended up soldering the connections again and then using epoxy to hold everything down on a more permanent basis.
