Beverly, I read the rest of the thread; if it requires ANY modification AT ALL, it is an upgrade, is it not? When I bought a 20x CD-rom module, then put it into my 3400c's expansion bay in place of the 12x CD-Rom, I am UPGRADING it from what it was before, right? Even though it it required NO shaving....
