I've been trying to get the boys PB 540c online, but still cannot connect. I know the modem is good. I've used it to connect my PowerMac 7300/500, and it worked just fine. The modem is a SupraExpress 56.
I don't have any drivers, or whatever the software is for the modem. I chose "Null Modem 57x" in the Modem Control Panel. I also tried using Supra 14x, but that didn't work either. I installed MacPPP 2.5. Do I need something else? Open Transport? I called my ISP, and they have no clue what to do. They don't even have any Macs at all, and no Mac people. -- vjamacaddict PowerBook 540c, System 7.5.5, 12MB RAM, Virtual Memory set to 16MB RAM -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
