The Enterasys I use is 16-bit, I think the Proxim is too.

The Enterasys drivers specifically support older Powerbooks and OS - according to the driver ReadMe, "PowerBook 2400, 3400 or G3 running System 7.6.1 or later (up to 9.0), PowerBook 1400 or 5300 running System 7.5.3 or later (up to 9.0), PowerBook 190 running System 7.5.2 or later (up to 9.0)". I use a 1400c with OS 8.6.

Could you use the Proxim in the G3 powerbooks? I
