IMHO this doesn't help. Fine for single cells, but likely to rapidly trash a battery pack. (one cell always goes flat a bit earlier than the others and then suffers a reverse voltage, burns it out pretty quick.) Battery packs should be recharged as soon as they start to get a bit flat for maximum life.
