All 1400 MLBs support either screen.

Odd that last one . . . tried zapping the pram and resetting the power 
manager after installing the screen? How about deleting the "Display 
Prefs"? WHat happens when you change colors, like from thousands to 256?

Also, check for the presence of . . . geez, I forget now what CP does it, 
inverts everything. Some sort of Easy Access or like that, to make the 
screen more readable for those with vision disabilities (or whatever it's 
called nowadays by the PolitCorrect.)

Oh, and how about maybe cs base and screen both have problems?
