Hello everyone, I was just wondering how possible it was to use USB with my 3400c? I want to use my cell phone to get online when im traveling and you need to have a usb connection for the data cable. Is it possible to get usb on a 3400c? I have os 9.2.2 installed so system software shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks, Josh

Absolutely. As has been said, you have to do some minor XActo knife-style surgery to the shape of the card's end. I don't have the link to the illustrations handy, but a search of the list archive should yield about an hour's worth of reading on this topic. One important point is that you need to wait until after you're all safely booted up to insert the USB card, else it won't be recognized. Similarly, you need to drag it to the trash before you shutdown, else it won't eject (and, of course, it won't be recognized when you start back up). At that point it's time to resort to the unbent paper clip...
