I found another 1400 that I had stashed. Tried it and could get no response other than
a little noise. So, assuming it is not the hard drive, I pulled that 2.G and put it in
the good 1400. The machine recognized it, but said it wasn't a HDD disk. I tried to
initialize it and it didn't happen.

So, I pulled it out and put the known good hard drive in, 1.3, and now it is giving me
the blinking question mark. What is going on here? I have pulled it out and put it
back. Used a kitchen knife, to press down all the pins. No go. BLinking light.

Any ideas
