Umm I don't have detailed diagnostics on why it was unable to connect, I do know that Eudora threw a domain name error. Also that iCab couldn't access web pages.

You definately need to dig deeper. Those could simply mean that you didn't have usable domain name server IPs. I donno about Adelphia, but that's a regular occurance on Comcast.
