Hi there! I recently acquired a supposedly new CD-ROM drive for my 1400cs, but when I insert a CD (either audio or data), it spins around and nothing comes up. The little yellow light just keeps blinking. The system profiler recognizes that the CD-ROM drive is indeed there, but I can't get anything off of it. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something that I have to do to get the 1400 to recognize the drive? Or, am I just postponing the inevitable?
All suggestions are gladly accepted. Thanks. Karl. ===== "Individual Freedom Within Spiritual Bounds" __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Address AutoComplete - You start.
