Before doing anything, IMMEDIATELY upgrade to any version of Mac OS
higher than 7.5.2. 7.5.5 is a free download from apple. 7.5.2 is
famous for being the most unstable Macintosh operating system version
ever made.
Didn't it last like a whole month before 7.5.3 was released?
