A CF mounts as an ordinary drive.

You can reformat it as Mac by using the Erase Disk option of the Special 
menu.

Select HFS or HFS+.

Then use it as a regular Mac disk.

So, to reuse in a digicam, you must reformat as DOS.

CFs used in digital cameras are DOS formatted, and can be mounted in a 
PCMCIA slot as an ordinary DOS disk, and the JPEGs theren can be copied.
