> Would a scsi->ethernet converter also do the trick?

sure. If there is software for Macintosh 68k included...

I have an scasi-ethernet converter for the PB 100 and another for the Mac Classic: they work just flawlessly in my mixed wired/wireless home network: there are also a G5 and some PowerBooks at time (WS, G4, iBook, 5300, Kanga, 1400...): they all share some printers.

The best buy are the Asantè stuff.
