Well, I decided to first replace the easier thing, the logic board
(MoBo). The problem disappeared: so that I could see the desktop and
change the contrast via the control ring.
So my problem is not on the display capacitors but on the MoBo.
Unfortunately this second MoBo has a different problem: the backlit
does not work, so now I can see the desktop but it is as if the
brightness was off.
What is wrong with the second keyboard?
Should we investigate further?
