I think you are as likely to get an answer here as anywhere.

I'll give my opinion -

The vast majority of 190/5300 I have seen have no backlight issue, other
screen problems but not backlights.

Given that these machines are around 10 years old and available for next to
nothing, is extending the screen life an issue ?
