Greetings again. I found the Brother Printers in the Printer Descriptions folder inside the Extensions folder. But my question remains. Why isn't the printer list showing-up in the Chooser? Thanks.

Greetings. This may be too specific a question. I have a Brother HL-1870N networked laser printer. I am trying to install the driver onto my PB2400c running OS 8.6. The driver is supposed to be compatible. The installation process appears to proceed normally. Then I go to the Chooser and click on the LaserWriter 8 icon in the left-hand window. This is supposed to bring-up a PostScript Printer for me to select in the right-hand window. However, when I click on the LW8 icon no printer selections are available in the right-hand window. When I try to find the driver extension in the Extensions folder, or elsewhere it is nowhere to be found! I don't get it. Suggestions?

Thanks!

Gary F. Daught
